Please help us to make a positive change in the lives of Haitian children.

  • £1 = 62 HTG (Haitian Gourdes) can buy 6 pencils OR 10 pens OR a small juice and a patty for snack
  • £5 = 310 HTG can buy a grammar or dictation book for a 11 year child in 5th elementary grade (= 6th elementary grade school in the British school system)
  • £10 = 620 HTG can buy a school dictionary OR 5 (a week) school lunches
  • £20 = 1240 HTG can buy a backpack for the school year OR a pair of shoes for the school year OR labour for 3 school uniforms (tissue not included)
  • £50 = 3100 HTG can buy 7 to 8 books for the school year for a child aged 10 to 12 years in 4th to 6th elementary grade (= 5th to 6th elementary grade school and intermediate grade school in the British school system) OR 3 school uniforms (labour + tissue) + a pair of shoes + hair clips and slides
  • £70 = 4340 HTG can buy a yearly school and exam fees for a child aged 9 to 11 years in 3rd to 5th elementary grade (= 4th to 6th elementary grade school in the British school system)
